Review on PTK-6525 Primula 2.5 qt. Stainless Steel Whistling Stovetop Tea Kettle by Roy Cook

I bought this kettle 5 years ago for a little used home next to our young grandchildren. My husband and I are coffee drinkers, so we've used the kettle less than a dozen times over the years. Today I put it on the stove to heat tea water for our 4 year old grandchildren. I looked closely because I didn't want the water to fully boil. I picked it up and the handle fell off the spout - it melted! I quickly put it down and noticed that the other end of the handle had also melted. This fountain would be a disaster if the pot fell completely off the handle. Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this great value kettle for any use.
