I love these ice cream molds! "Cubes" the size of Candy Dots. They freeze about as fast as my regular sized ice cube trays, which suits me just fine. I like crunching on ice so I try to keep a supply on hand. After freezing, I "break open" the shell and empty the cubes into a gallon-sized ziplock bag. If all the cubes didn't come out, just wait a minute and try again. When I empty the third tray, usually the first tray is free enough for the remaining cubes to come out. They're a bit more difficult to fill than regular trays, so I pour water from one end and tilt the tray to allow the water to flow into the other holes. Sometimes the holes aren't completely filled, but I can live with that. Overall I am very happy with these little trays and will buy them again.
