I like activated charcoal. Bought to replace an old cabin filter I bought a year ago. I remember feeling a strange smell after installing the old one. The smell wasn't too strong but you can smell it. For this activated carbon filter, after installing it, I turned on my car and the smell no longer comes out! So far, so good. Installation is pretty easy and I wrote the date on the filter so the next time I replace that filter I know how long I would be using that filter. I hope this lasts longer.
