Review on Greenful Products Splatter Screen Frying by Rebecca Johnson

Looking for a more temperature resistant shield. I bought this in response to a description that said it will withstand fat splatter when frying food, it will withstand 500ºF and an average 5 star rating from 31 reviews. My first application was a typical use case: installing a splatter guard on a 9" pan while frying breakfast sausages. The splash guard was probably damaged by the heat. There were spatters on the edge of the pan. The screen has turned white, cracked and parts of the silicone material are now falling off. Now, I further analyzed previous reviews of this product and found that many of them were written in response to you getting the product for free or at a discount. and are therefore likely to be biased. .
