Bought this for my young children. My children are too young to use brooms and dustpans effectively, but they want to help around the house and I want them to help too. This is the perfect solution. I also like that I can use it with one hand while holding my baby in the other hand. It's strong enough that I don't think my kids will ever break it, and the handle is made of bolt-together pieces so I can leave a piece and adjust it to the perfect height for them. The carpet brush works great on my medium pile carpet. The hard floor nozzle works quite well, but doesn't pick up everything. There's still more than what they'd get with a broom and dustpan, so it's worth it to me. It's not easy for my 3 year old to empty but my 5 year old can.
