You need to charge it
This is a very good capacitor, no instructions on how to initialize with a resistance lamp but you can download the pdf online and get it pretty easy. I have upgraded to a 275 alternator and am using it on a 2000w system so far so good. 14.5v always on my machines, sensor with no spikes. Conduction 4 ohms per channel 2/0 power cable
