Works great but doesn't save that much power. I think I need a bigger one. This is good for a small system. I'm only running about 700 on a 12 in a ported box and it's fine.

This is a very good capacitor, there are no instructions to initialize it with a resistance lamp but you can download the pdf online and get it pretty easily. This capacitor does not switch on and off with the head unit or converter from high to low output, the thing discharges after removing the plus, I have been waiting for a replacement since the charging bulb was crushed, Harder than it should be, it's sold as a single amp connector. I have 300W RMS on the sub and 90 on 4 in the mids and 65 on 4 in the highs, 2 farads is almost enough but needs some headroom. Don't recommend this unless you're using Double
