Review on Amber 32 Pickling Fermenting Storage by Nick Ward

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Color is lighter than expected, made in China? UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

I love the amber sphere jars for tinctures and infused oils, and I also make my own vanilla because the amber color blocks and filters 99% of UV rays so you don't have to find a dark closet to store them. Love! I received these jars in a box labeled Bedoo Glass Jars Made in China. They were very well packaged in a styrofoam insert both at the bottom and top of the box keeping them safe and secure. Each of the lids are universal and do not have a ball label. a little lighter than expected but they sure do sparkle! I washed them in the dishwasher and the jars and lids were fine. I make tinctures in some jars that use vodka and the lids aren't rusting at the moment so that's good. The tightness is good, the liquid does not leak when turning. I also tried sealing the jar with a Food Saver vacuum sealer and it sealed perfectly. The jar is marked in ounces on one side and ml on the other, and "Made in USA" is written on the bottom of the ml side. "in a jar. The markings on the ball can don't seem as sharp as I expected. I took off a star because I'm confused as to where the can was actually made, and also the price is high, although that Glass is heavy and expensive to ship This is aside from that, the jar and universal lids appear to perform as one would expect from a tin can.
