Great third time! I've tried both the USA Gear Universal Car Air/AC Vent Mount XL and the Mountek nGroove Universal CD Slot Mount. The USA Gear mount doesn't hold the phone with my Ionic Guardian case and the mountek sits too far away for me to see the screen clearly as I use it for GPS (although I really like it as it was very sturdy ). . However, this one is great! Spring clips grip the vents and hold them in place. Note that the mount will move up and down a bit as you move it since the base support only rests against the bottom of the vent, but that's okay. One thing I really like about this mount is the release button. There is only one button and it is in the bottom right. This makes it very easy to quickly disconnect the phone with one hand. Other bindings may require you to reach behind your back and use two hands, which can be quite tiring. I've only had this mount for a few days, but I'm very impressed.
