First I have to start with the negatives. The device did not work on my computer when the software was activated (and bit connected). I'm using Windows 10 64-bit version 1809. I removed the driver that the installer downloaded and let Windows choose the driver. Which seemed to fix it! Exclamation mark in device manager. The Amcap software kept throwing the error. I googled and someone recommended me to use the built-in camera app in Windows 10. I tried this and it worked great. After using Windows Camera app, Amcap also worked magically. However. The device produces relatively low resolution (640 x 480) images (compared to today's digital cameras), but it works great for what I bought it for - examining old coins. adjustable macro flash, and the pictures I took were exactly what I had in mind. I see other models of USB microscopes selling for over $500 - I don't need that. I can't get him to show me the entire coin in the wobble, but for $20 I really can't complain too much.
