Love this seat! It looks amazing, feels amazing and the bolster is perfect for when I want to look over the windshield (which is pretty much anytime we are under way). I mounted it on a Wise adjustable pedestal with a slide and the functionality is great! I can move up/down, swivel, and slide forward and back. Combined with putting the bolster in the up or down position and I have about a million options for position and comfort with this seat. The price was excellent and it arrived in two days. I would HIGHLY recommend this seat if you are redoing a boat, want to add a captains chair or to replace your old one. The fact that the blue portions of the seat are done in "carbon fiber" looking material was even better, since I used the same type vinyl to redo my boat. I looked online at numerous web sites before pulling the trigger on this seat and I would say i looked at pictures and descriptions of over 100 seats. This was the best priced and nicest seat for the money I could find anywhere.
