braid is not long for much. I need to reconnect this connector with a sufficiently long cable. Otherwise, it is a visually appealing device. 1) The wiring is NOT waterproof although the connector is sealed. The diameter of the pigtail is smaller than the back shell of the connector. I'll have to add heat shrink tubing with glue to seal it or re-crimp the connectors on the cable I need to use. 2) It would be nice if it came as a kit where I could just plug in whatever cable I need. .
