I ran some tests on this unit. I connected my laptop (via USB/HDMI) and the transmitter. At the other end was a simple 27 inch monitor with a receiver/USB power supply. The results were stunning. Setup was very easy, I literally turn them on and they pair themselves in 1080P. I tested streaming the show from my laptop. and gradually began to leave the room with the monitor in a clean place. I was able to move about 120 feet from the receiver before the signal dropped. That was more than enough for me since I installed the devices in a room that is only 30 feet wide and 35 feet long. I ran an audio sync test from my laptop to visually compare the audio latency and the latency was virtually ZERO. Very impressive! I ended up mounting the transmitter in a wooden stand to a stereo receiver and mounted the receiver to a ceiling mounted projector. The results were amazing. I would definitely buy again.
