Wonderful instrument. I finally got the Maxidas DS808 after looking at them for about a year and going back and forth over their scanners with Snap-on and Matco tool carts. I've been using this scanner for two weeks now and have hooked it up to multiple vehicles ranging from a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle to a 2014 Chevy Silverado with no problems. I believe this scanner has already saved me a total of $950 in labor costs. So it has already paid off. In the same way, I calculated that the device is indeed worth its weight in gold over the life of the scanner. Laugh out loud. I was able to pretest the transmission line pressure on a GMC Acadia and reset the adaptive tutorial to troubleshoot a minor gear shift issue, TPMS on a 2014 Silverado, TPMS issue and engine warm up sequence issue on a 2012 Dodge Durango Citadel and fix major electrical problems on VW Beetle 02 and other models. If you're thinking about buying this scanner, don't think twice, just buy it.
