Not strong enough or the same size? For high amperage switches, stick to thick switches.

Bought for a new circuit in an old FP case. It had to be removed to re-route the wiring and the spade lugs got stuck. On a large channel, I literally had to flip the switch. One of the lugs got stuck in such a way that the plastic on the breaker broke off, rendering it unusable. It seems to me that this is a plastic quality issue combined with a size tolerance issue. The second "identical" switch worked fine. I have been in the FP box for over 40 years and have never had this problem, neither in this box nor in previous ones. You can always "push" them out by hand by shaking them gently and prying them open with your hands, not a tool. Disappointed with the one to two fitness ratio at this price point. Decided to reorder the Fat Switch as I have space in the box.

Pros
  • Switches, Load Centers and Fuses
Cons
  • Very expensive
