Review on πŸ”” Locisne Freezer Alarm: Audible Alarm & 2 Wireless Sensors for Home Kitchen - Indoor/Outdoor Refrigerator Thermometer by Mark Albright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One thing is different than 5 stars

I use this to control the temperature in the greenhouse and outside in winter. I find I prefer this one to the older one. Better size, bigger display, more intuitive. As others have said, for the coldest temperatures in this gauge, lithium batteries should be used, not rechargeable ones. I've found that rechargeable batteries work great in the fridge. So what can make it 5 stars? If only the LCD screen could be backlit with the push of a button. 5 seconds backlight is enough. It would be much easier to check the temperature in the greenhouse in the dark. Thanks Esnow *Note: Put the sensors outside in a screw-top plastic container. Like Talenti Gelato.*Tip 2: Even in a fridge or freezer, the sensor is sealed in a screw-top container, making it less prone to false alarms caused by leaving the door open too long!
