Review on 💪 Cardone 20-290P1 Remanufactured Power Steering Pump - Quality Replacement without Reservoir by Derick Carpenter

Part quality is very good. It came with the pulley mounted. I was concerned because I didn't have a pulley puller. However, after trying to install it for several hours, I found that I had to remove the pulley to install the pump. Some Ford engineer, in his boundless wisdom, decided to block access to one of the mounting bolts and the connection of the pressure hose to the pulley. You will also need to remove the old pulley otherwise you will have a lot of time trying to remove it. Get a puller/installation kit before attempting to install this, you'll save yourself a lot of time and cut your fingers. Also a good 18mm line wrench for removing the pressure line. I didn't deduct any stars for the pulley as it's not Cardone's fault that Ford made this part (and many others) very hard to come by. There are many good installation videos on YouTube. Don't try to carve any steps, if you do it right with the right tools it should take less than two hours.
