This product is NOT WATERPROOF! We installed it properly, the zip was properly closed and the zip was full of water after an 11 hour ride with about 6 hours of light to moderate rain. So frustrating and annoying especially as we are on a week long holiday and still have to use it because we can't pack everything in the car. The positives of this stretcher are the size and the price. It's very big and holds a lot. So if you're stuffing things into pockets and garbage bags to keep them dry, everything would be fine except the inside of the stretcher would still be filled with water.
