Review on 🍳 Premium Blue Diamond Cookware Set: Ceramic Nonstick, Triple Stainless Steel, Induction Safe - 6 Piece Silver Pots and Pans Collection by Laura Brooks

BROKEN! Used twice, lid cracked.

Lid cracked on second use. How does this happen?! I have had less expensive glass lidded casseroles from Faberware, Tramotina, Rachel Ray, Paula Dean, Pioneer Woman as well as several cheap Mainstays and family dollar glass lidded sets over 40 years of cooking and NEVER has the lid cracked like this. Most covers for the above sets have survived their usefulness. Unfortunately none of them fit in this pan. For $100 for 2 pans, 1 saucepan and lid I was expecting much better quality. I cooked over medium heat, took the lid off the pan and put it on the table and it broke into a million pieces. As for the skillet, I've been pleased both times, somewhat impressed with the even heating to the very rim and heat retention. Easy to clean. I'm wondering if I just received a bad lid from a batch of glass that wasn't properly tempered/finished? I cook dinner at home, every night, 30 days a month, I've been looking for love for this pan with all the hype I've heard, and I've enjoyed moving myself, but I need a lid , which is unacceptable.

Pros
  • V-notches keep stainless steel handles cool, while the angled shape allows for stacking of pots and saves space.
Cons
  • Expensive
