I bought a Miele C3 Alise without power nozzle (but with the possibility of using it) for my house which has a hardwood floor with different zone carpets. For the most part it worked great except when my dog (husky) blew his fur off. I was able to remove the fur with the non-powered head by brushing the carpets, but I got tired of it after about a year and wanted to give up and buy an electric wand/head, but it's expensive (>$250). )!Enter this "Splinova Miele Turbo Head Cleaner". Thought it might be worth a try for $25. So glad I did. He pulls the undercoat right off my carpets. Of course, sometimes with these "turbo" attachments you have to let go for a second to spin them and then lower them back down to clean the carpet, but that's a minor inconvenience and nothing compared to trying the carpet to be cleaned with the original attachments without a motor. I would say this device saved me the $250 I was about to spend on an electric baton/head because I no longer feel the need to buy it afterwards. If you have a carpet of furry pets in your home, this may not be for you. However, it worked great for my setup - all hardwood with carpets and huskies. I hope it helps!
