These recordings are very durable and very easy to use. In combination with Lenox holesaws, they cut effortlessly through oak, maple and other hardwoods and even cut sheet metal very well. Compared to smaller hole saw sets in hardware stores, Lenox tools are significantly better. To put it mildly, hard work! I imagine the "quick change" style of mandrel might be easier, but it's relatively easy to use: just unscrew the top screw, slide up the two-pronged stop piece, and screw in the new hole saw . After screwing onto the mandrel, the locking piece slides down and the pins fit into the holes on the saw. Tighten the screw and you're good to go. This creates a very strong hole saw and even when cutting metal there is NO saw and mandrel movement. These are impressive tools that work great with both wood and light metal. I am impressed!
