This lock is definitely as strong as it looks in the photos I took! I was looking for a lock that would withstand the elements for the door that opens from the garage to the garden and I was glad I found it. It has both keyboard options and key usage. I love that everything is stainless steel - fingers crossed it doesn't rust! I think they did a good job on the design so the battery compartment is on the outside instead of the inside. This makes the inside handle much smaller and more attractive than the Kwikset keylock I have for my front door. Another thing I love about this lock is that it only locks when you close it. I don't have anything that can be rotated to close like my Kwikset does. The only thing I hope they can improve on is the instructions that come with it. It was a bit confusing but I was finally able to figure out how to install it as I have installed other locks in the past.
