Deburring tube? Yes, this is normal (at least on the black hardware I had). Clear 3D printing? Not as much. I mainly work with fairly small prints (80mm is the largest) and the tool was useless for this purpose. I was also annoyed by the storage in the pen (one of the main reasons I chose this). It has this feature, but it's completely useless. The way it's designed means you'll only fit 4 in there at best (because of the shape of the bits) and I wouldn't even try to store 1 in it - it's too easy to cut your finger, to put it in. or because of the insanely tight fit.
