If you have a third hand

The quality of this item is good but I cannot confirm how long it will last as I have only used it a couple of times. I had to drain the sump twice a day as my air conditioning broke down and I was having trouble draining the water. So I attached it to the side of the pot, but the clamp was unstable for such a shallow pool and the end kept popping out of the water. The other end was in a gallon jar but it kept falling unless I held it between my legs. It took a few magical reps and lots of pumping to get the water flowing. I couldn't tell exactly when the water was flowing because I couldn't let go of the plunger and suction end of the hose to find out. Once I could see how much was building up and it was very slow. If I kept pumping, I could speed it up. Too many problems for what I needed it for. I'm back to turkey pumping. Now I have a new air conditioner so I have a siphon which I will not be using.
