. So this is a composite mounting part cheaper in price. I believe they also make aluminum which costs a bit more. That's just the right height for what I need. I've had one almost twice as long. It works great and stays strong. We'll have to see the composite's exposure to the sun/weather over time, but I don't see why it won't work for years to come. Anyhow, I would expect the surface to become less smooth/polished over time with a lot of exposure. Given the price and functionality, this is a win.
