    Not aesthetic.

    Overall color/finish not good. Not a solid black, but a swirling gray black color. I won't be returning it, it serves its purpose and I'll probably just paint. Was expecting better quality for the price I paid. I blame Ram Mounts more than the seller. But pay attention to the seller, please check the quality of your products before shipping. Return inferior copies to Ram Mounts and get better ones or lower the price of the "ugly" ones. I bet you get great reviews for products with these issues…

    Excellent in short Ram Mount

    . So this is a composite mounting part cheaper in price. I believe they also make aluminum which costs a bit more. That's just the right height for what I need. I've had one almost twice as long. It works great and stays strong. We'll have to see the composite's exposure to the sun/weather over time, but I don't see why it won't work for years to come. Anyhow, I would expect the surface to become less smooth/polished over time with a lot of exposure. Given the price and functionality, this is a

    Ram mounts are the best mobile device mounts I have ever used. This connector is one of several I needed to attach my iPad mini to an exercise bike - I have it with a claw (RAP-B-400U), an iPad mini 4 stand (RAM-HOL-AP20U) and a optional ball connection used. for attaching the bracket (RAP-B-202U).     Great solid and perfectly positioned cell phone mount

    I used these RAM Mount components to mount a cell phone to the driver's side windshield pillar. They hold very tight, ie zero slip. I replaced the existing handle retention screw with a base RAM mount with a separate longer and slightly smaller screw, and then used two of those screws and a RAM mount dual ball component to achieve the desired adjustment and positioning.     The RAM mounts are amazing! I use all of their products to attach my gear to all of my cars, motorcycles, kayaks and bikes.     Added correct height to mount my Garmin Striker 4 on my kayak

    Aside from this composite arm, I also have a RAM trackball with T-bolt mount and round aluminum drill base adapter with Revain 1" rubberized ball Bought . I chose this arm length because I like to mount the cooler at the front of the kayak and needed to extend the Garmin so I could see and access it on top of the cooler.     Part of a very good phone mount system for my motorcycle

    I bought this to attach my droid DNA to my motorcycle handlebars. I needed 3 parts to secure the mount: a U-bolt, a double-locking lever, and a cross-handle. First, the U-bolt mounting base is attached to the handlebar. I taped the bars around to protect them from scratches and also created a higher friction surface to prevent the clamp from spinning on the bars. It comes with a nice adapter that fits 1" or 7/8" bars. You then need a dual lever with a male connector on each end to grab the ball
