Overall color/finish not good. Not a solid black, but a swirling gray black color. I won't be returning it, it serves its purpose and I'll probably just paint. Was expecting better quality for the price I paid. I blame Ram Mounts more than the seller. But pay attention to the seller, please check the quality of your products before shipping. Return inferior copies to Ram Mounts and get better ones or lower the price of the "ugly" ones. I bet you get great reviews for products with these issues when they're sold as clearance items.
