I have had this digital tuner for about a year and a half and am very disappointed with its performance. When I first connected it to two TVs in our living room, I searched for our favorite TV channels to install. After scanning, the menu showed me all channels found with a yellow smiley face next to them. I didn't like the emojis so I scrolled down the list, deleted each one and unknowingly deleted all the feeds from this thing. After rescanning, I carefully selected the channels I wanted to watch and exited the menu. For the first six to ten months I had no problems with the tuner apart from the occasional signal interference caused by bad weather. After that, however, the car began to fall apart. To my dismay, the converter would occasionally show a blank white screen with only audio playing. Then after a few seconds it would turn off for about 15 seconds and then turn on again. At first I thought it was the auto power off setting, but when I checked the settings and found that option was disabled, I realized something was wrong. A few weeks later, as the problem persisted, it started to get worse. When disconnected it sometimes switched to a different channel than the one it was on before the problem started, and sometimes it completely wiped all channels. I then often had to rescan more than once to restore all the channels I used to enjoy watching. Another thing that annoyed me was that the remote control was slow to respond even with fresh batteries. Also, every time I changed channels, a big reddish-brown box would appear showing what was on that channel and rating information. The box then stayed on screen for five to ten seconds before finally disappearing from the street. I strongly advise buyers to stay away from this product and buy something else to avoid the risk of losing their money.
