Plastic center pin stuck in internal mechanism, lock is unusable and difficult to operate. Strike plate is too thick to fit into the striker gap in lock mode. I played around with this for 2 hours to get it working and ended up sanding the width of the sections here and there but couldn't fix it. It closes, but to get the latching feature to work as well as possible, it leaves a 1/4 inch gap to allow the door to slide in and out freely while latched. So if I pull maybe 1/18 hour out of the lock's inner hook it might snap into a somewhat locked position. but it seems that if it is not locked it will certainly be very noisy on windy days. very bad. If you press the button from the outside, it will pass the internal mechanism and jam. update, my neighbor had parts and after replacing 100% of that useless junk with half my old handle and half his old internal latch, I made a better product from used junk, much better than this new one.
