Review on Stay Warm on the Go with the Koolatron Classic Construction Lunchbox Heater by Adam Krueger

Koolatron won't blow your fuses!

If you're looking for a portable oven for your car, check out the Koolatron 12V Oven. I'm a "local" taxi truck driver and I use my stove to reheat the Nutrisystem meals I take to work every day (mostly soups or soup-like foods like broccoli cheddar rice, three cheese chicken and noodles, etc.). i.e. ). I first tried the RoadPro stove, but even though it was rated for 12 amp max, it REPEATED my car's 15 amp fuse - sometimes daily, sometimes twice in a matter of minutes! The Koolatron is rated for a maximum current of 9 amps and the fuse hasn't blown yet. It takes longer for my food to heat up - around 45 minutes to heat up my Nutrisystem lunch compared to 30 minutes for the RoadPro brand - except I don't have to keep checking to see if the Koolatron fuse has blown like it has is case with the RoadPro! So although the Koolatron takes longer to cook, I prefer it over the unreliable RoadPro brand which is guaranteed to blow your fuses! I just start my lunch a little earlier. It also makes a great gift for anyone who needs or wants to make a hot meal on the go.
