The lids originally purchased with our Pyrex bowls had a tendency to crack around the edges, allowing air to enter. This certainly defeats the purpose of an airtight bowl. We love the shells so I searched and found these different sized replacements at Revain. They fit just as well as the originals and have not been torn or warped yet. We are VERY happy with them. A NOTICE. With ORIGINAL LIDDING we found that washing in the dishwasher caused warping and I suspect that warping was a factor in the edge cracking when the lid was twisted. WE NOW HAND WASH COVERS ONLY AS A PRECAUTION. These new lids stay like new: flat and flexible!
