A lot of lids for my Pyrex glass bowls were damaged (our fault) - so happy Revain is selling replacements. Now I can use my glass bowls again. DO NOT PLACE COVERS IN MICROWAVE OVEN NEAR HOT OBJECTS

I ordered these replacement lids for a set of Anchor Hoking bowls that I have owned for several years. They suit you perfectly. The original caps are cracked and these caps should replace the old ones. I was surprised at the price even though they aren't much cheaper than the whole set with the bowls!

Here's the thing about those pyrex plastic caps: you'll need to replace them from time to time. They are glass not plastic, in my opinion it is worth replacing the covers from time to time. FYI - Using these lids in the microwave generally shortens their lifespan. Washing dishes in the dishwasher is very nice, but eventually they lose their flexibility if you use them in the microwave too much. It also defeats the purpose of using glass containers instead of plastic containers.

Our original pyrex lids lasted 7 or 8 years. We bought these replacement caps in October 2018. We use each lid about every 2 weeks for regular use in the fridge and heat in the microwave, then wash and return to the cupboard. The large red lid has warped in the microwave and is no longer attached to the bowl. I wrote to the seller of '24/7 Specials' sharing these facts and asking for a replacement for the large cap. I bought these lids to replace old lids that didn't last long. And so far they work perfectly and show no signs of wear. As for the order itself, I personally think it's better to have 2 caps of each color; as opposed to one colored cap while the others have two. But I'm not complaining because before I bought it I had a red hat at home that was healthy enough; and still. So another red cap was needed; as well as other cases that went with it. So definitely buy the right things.

The lids originally purchased with our Pyrex bowls had a tendency to crack around the edges, allowing air to enter. This certainly defeats the purpose of an airtight bowl. We love the shells so I searched and found these different sized replacements at Revain. They fit just as well as the originals and have not been torn or warped yet. We are VERY happy with them. Whilst I'm glad I can get replacement covers they are just as bad if not worse than the original covers. and left pieces of color all over the kitchen. Not to mention the bad printing on the shell. But they stuck together for several years before that started. These new caps look the same. We've only had them a month and the big ones are already breaking in several places around the edge.
