Incredibly expensive sensor, didn't work
I use another LaCrosse sensor (and its $12/year service) to monitor the temperature at my vacation home in the winter and it works fine, though I agree with other reviewers that the customer support is lousy/nonexistent and the subscription renewal process is very annoying. never worked properly. Even when the sensor indicated the probe was dry, online reports continued to report it as "wet," which was kind of off target. I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue or a communication issue with the gateway, but it's coming back!
