Review on πŸ”„ Portable Sandblaster: Optimum Blasting Power for Sandblasting by Justin Metz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read my review! I thought it was junk too, but it works!

Not many real/decent reviews on this. I was initially skeptical because I didn't have a carrier to try out my Brembo calipers. I had baking soda in the kitchen and I made it. Did absolutely nothing. I was very disappointed. I read on the net that someone was fed up with salt. Didn't give anything to this hot tub. After reading other reviews I'm still optimistic, but I haven't given up yet. With neither tractor equipment nor port cargo around, I decided to do what everyone says not to do. I went to Home Depot and bought play sand! ** I do not endorse or recommend using sand as it can seriously damage your lungs due to the silica ** Thought it might be worth a try and only $4 for Β£50 and across the street from my house why not . Marvelous! It made me believe in this weapon. I think the big problem is that the media control valve is misleading. It says on or off. Having never sandblasted before, I didn't realize that controlling the amount that comes out of the gun is really important! When I first started using baking soda and salt, it was wide open. Tried the salt again with the valve slightly ajar and it worked a bit. As you can see from the photos this gun did the job. Sand is a bit too abrasive for aluminum, but IT WORKS! At 90-120 pounds of pressure, this gun ABSOLUTELY works. Use the right material and the right air to material ratio and you have a homemade sandblaster. Now the next step is to get some harmless abrasive for my lungs and open area to finish the job.
