Review on DuraWheel DW 1000 Distance Measuring Wheel 12 5 by Dave Hersma

I use this measuring wheel for work so it performs regularly in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. He works well and does a good job. I have only one problem and it has to do with ergonomics, not mechanical function. If you are measuring an object that requires you to stop and take notes, there is no other option but to place the DuraWheel on the floor to lift the object yourself. The wheel spins so well that the device isn't leaning against the wall or my leg, allowing me to write with both hands. It just rolls away from me and falls on its side. I end up trying to hold it between my legs as I write. Ugly pose! Functionally it is very good. Folds and stores very well, overall I am satisfied.
