Thank goodness for this puller kit. Our son's car had a bolt that had to be welded in because we tried every wrench, bit and tool we could find other than drilling them out. Luckily we got this set, put it in our impact wrench and after a little click and jingle of the screwdriver the screw came loose. And that's despite the fact that we tore off the bolt a bit in our previous attempts. This one copy is enough to justify the purchase of this kit. This saves us cuts, scratches and a few obscene words that came out of our mouths. We also tested the extractors on a few bolts that we also removed the heads from and he even handled them like a champ. Of course, the head of the screw must protrude just far enough for the bit to snap into place. It is worth having this set in your arsenal. Of course it's not cheap. But without this kit, you will need to cut off the head of the screw or bolt, or drill out the center of the bolt's screw. That takes that problem out of the equation. And they delivered it well. Carbon steel is pretty tough. And it works with either a drill/impact driver or a 3/8 inch socket wrench. It even comes in a nifty little case so you can keep the set around throughout the day when back pain or screw pain is trying to ruin your day.
