These locks worked exactly as expected.
In general, I think locks are worth their money. The cable was good and long and quite easy to connect to the laptop. We use these locks, which rarely move, so I'm not sure how they will behave if reconnected multiple times. I know other devices have some kind of quick release, but they are much more expensive.
