So I decided to replace my keyed Kensington locks just because this was cheaper and they were out of stock at the time. What I like is the ease of use. What I don't like is how loosely it sits in the Kensington slot on my laptops. I checked if it was a problem when enough force was applied but still stayed in place so I suppose I'll just accept that. I could get Kensington locks if they're in stock just like that. I prefer to have a secure handle lock that doesn't move at all like my key locks…

I bought these to replace some computer locks with black letters on silver. It became difficult to read numbers in a darkened room. Those white letters really stand out even in low light. You still need a flashlight, but I don't feel like my eyes are straining.

In general, I think locks are worth their money. The cable was good and long and quite easy to connect to the laptop. We use these locks, which rarely move, so I'm not sure how they will behave if reconnected multiple times. I know other devices have some kind of quick release, but they are much more expensive.
