I'm new to leatherworking and not sure what tools are needed for the craft but this set has plenty of tools to get you started. The tools appear to be of high quality but are made in China. like everything else. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it didn't come with a cutting mat. I tried to contact Amazon and the seller but couldn't find a way to contact them on their website. return the item and they will send another one. I just ordered another one that is larger than what was supposed to come with the tool kit. Recommended for beginners who want to get started with leather. I look forward to using the kit.
