WOW - ok good part first. It's plug and play for the Raspberry Pi - just plug it into the camera slot, turn on the camera in the Pi configuration and away you go. The picture is partly what I expected, I never got to test the night vision - too much noise to use this device in every situation. clickely-klak alerts anyone near the device. While it takes good shots, it's a bad idea to draw attention to yourself in a moment like this. For my purposes of recording wildlife, no, not even close. I'm not even sure where the click-clack is coming from - it sounds like a relay. On the plus side, you can learn how to video monitor the PI and play with the bright night mode (which I haven't tested). It's easy to install if you want to use/create it. But I don't think this device is for me - at least not this project. I will try to find another way to do night vision without a relay.
