Time works well, but there are a few things I'd like to change. First, it's a non-standard battery, so it can be difficult to find when it's dead. I mention this because every other battery operated device I have ever owned turns itself off automatically after a few seconds or minutes of not being used, this timer has to be turned off by a switch each time after use. Make sure you turn it off and the battery will die. Another quirk I find a bit annoying is that when setting a timer you can only increase the time. You can reset it to zero and start setting again, but if you try to set the time to a second or a minute you'll have to start over. It takes some getting used to. Love the fact that it has a magnet for attaching the timer to metal surfaces, as well as a stand if you want. I also like the memory function, which allows you to enter the timer setting that you want to repeat. It's easy to read and has a lot of nice features and only 2 quirks I mentioned keep it from getting a full 5 star rating.
