I love this double kitchen timer! The numbers are big and I don't need glasses to see them. It is very easy to set timers and it has memory for both timers! It has large magnets that attach the timer so it doesn't clutter up your counter. Very, very handy for cooking several dishes at the same time. The company has incredible customer service and an incredibly quick response to any questions or concerns. I would definitely buy again!

Dual timers are very practical thanks to the memory function. I have a dish that I cook often, so I just leave the timer memory intact. However, it's also pretty easy to wipe saved reminders if you need to start over. The warning tone is loud (high, low & mute setting) and piercing. With volume up, I can easily hear him in the next room. The time can be set for hours, minutes and seconds.

The buttons are soft and fluffy, so it's hard to tell when they've been pressed. Sometimes pressing a key accidentally enters the same number twice. The display is difficult to read. The numbers are grey, not black, and the background is greyish. As a result, the contrast is low, which makes it difficult to read from different angles and in different lighting conditions. Much harder to read than the timers I have, with smaller numbers but higher contrast display. Doesn't always turn on…

At first this timer looked good until I realized it had reached its full potential. Two timers work great for the functions I need them for, but the icing on the cake is that when the timer goes off, the timer keeps counting down. This is very useful when you want to know how much time has passed since the timer ran out. I use this timer at my desk to periodically remind myself to get up. Since I can't have a loud timer at work, I love the alarm clock! Great timer! Please don't change anything!

Time works well, but there are a few things I'd like to change. First, it's a non-standard battery, so it can be difficult to find when it's dead. I mention this because every other battery operated device I have ever owned turns itself off automatically after a few seconds or minutes of not being used, this timer has to be turned off by a switch each time after use. I recently spent a few hours looking at kitchen timers on Revain. I like my old ones with numbers to set the time, but I couldn't push the buttons on the fridge without knocking them down. As such, they were so badly damaged by the falls that they had to be replaced. This review is for the YS316 with separate 0-9 buttons. This timer does its job exactly. The large display is easy to read. The buttons are well placed to avoid accidentally pressing more than one button at a time. It's great that it uses a pair of inexpensive AAA batteries instead of a button cell.
