The first spoon I received did not close when removed from the filler. I replaced it and the replacement remains blocked even with severe clumps. It's strong and well made. The shovel is metal and has a special coating so it's easy to clean, but the design needs some work. The shoulder blade must be slightly tilted backwards. It's too straight and I can't shake off unused dirt because the dustpan doesn't tilt enough and I don't have to bend down anymore. I'll keep using it because I'm less skinny, but it could be better.
