This glass is about the size of a tall drinking glass. It measures approximately 6 inches high, 2.5 inches in diameter at the base and 3.5 inches in diameter at the rim. The following sizes and graduations are marked on the side of the jar: 10 to 350 milliliters, 3 to 72 teaspoons, 1 to 24 tablespoons, 1 to 12 ounces, 1/8 to 1 ½ cups, 30 to 340 grams of sugar, and 15 to 170 grams of flour. I bought this mug primarily to track my daily fluid intake as part of my diet program. I use a glass to keep track of the amount of water I'm drinking throughout the day as well as the number of calories I'm consuming from juices, sodas, milk, etc. I also measure snack foods like peanuts, almonds, and M&Ms. The glass made this task really easy as I can measure out my portions and then drink/eat straight from the glass. The mug is made of heavy glass and the black markings are clear and easy to read. Other reviews claim that the markings rub off when washed in the dishwasher. As a result, I manually clean the glass. I use and hand wash this jar several times a day and it looks the same as the day I bought it.
