Review on 🔒 ACDelco GT270 Locking Fuel Tank Cap: Genuine GM Original Equipment for Enhanced Security by Vera Gashi

This product works as advertised. I had no problem with it not locking or being able to remove it without a key. You just need to make sure you put it on and turn the key to the lock position, then you need to turn the gas cap clockwise and click at least 3-4 times. Once you get it right and try to twist the lid counter-clockwise to open it, it just twists backwards until you open it. My only problem is remembering to get the unlock key when I stop to refuel. 12/12/08 - Update. The latch on the gas cap broke in less than 3 months and I was unable to fill up. I had to pry the whole lid to get it off. Now I'm back to a normal gas cap so it doesn't happen again.
