This is great gear but they don't tell you to beware of the three dots! There are three ports on the bottom of the iPad, and the home button is on the right. If these dots don't line up with the three dots at the bottom of the charging dock, your device won't charge. This device is not completely wireless other than the fact that it does not use any cables. So pay attention to the three points. But it's an absolute must for every iPad owner! I can't tell you how many batteries I've used with the iPad and iPhone because of Apple's lousy port. You should never have done without the USB port of the iPhone 1.0!
