I have revised my review. After 2 1/2 months it won't connect at all and throws an error message saying it's not a supported device. I really hoped that I would get lucky and have one of the good guys. I do not think so. This is great gear but they don't tell you to beware of the three dots! There are three ports on the bottom of the iPad, and the home button is on the right. If these dots don't line up with the three dots at the bottom of the charging dock, your device won't charge. This device is not completely wireless other than the fact that it does not use any cables. So pay attention to the three points. But it's an absolute must for every iPad owner! Another one that won't charge your iPad. I have a 2018 iPad Pro. As for "attaching" the stand with a magnet, I have to hold it straight up and down to get the magnets to sit together. Update: yes it stopped working, took about a year and a half. After a few months I noticed it stopped loading. I would disable reconnection and everything would be fine. They come up every few weeks. Then it got worse until today it finally stopped loading. I'm not sure I'll replace it since it's $90 now. There are definitely quality issues.
