I bought this fly mask because at the time it was cheaper than what I usually buy (ears cashel) . The material seemed fairly durable and breathable, but my gelding took it off almost every day or two. The mesh screen is slightly different than other fly masks I've used and it seemed like dirt/dust/etc. easily filtered out. That lasted until late last summer and a few months this spring/summer before I had to replace it due to punctures and scuffs (compliments from his new pal next door). Overall it was a good fly mask for the price but I'll stick with Cashel.
