Cons: The lower jaw was roughly shaped, with rough edges and a slightly uneven cleco flange seat on which the cleco flange rests rested. This causes the staples to tip into the jaws and bind or wedge in the jaws - the staples often have to be pulled out by hand, you can't just open the jaw and drop the staple into a bucket or container. The two halves are held together with a rivet, unlike traditional pliers which have a bolt or flattened pin. This causes the pliers to wobble slightly, which is resolved by placing the rivet head on an anvil and widening the opposite "built-in" side with a large diameter countersink.
