Better than MJ1200

I upgraded my Nanocube 28 to Maxijet 1200 first. They burned out after a while on the breakwater. I replaced them with another set. You're burned out. The other burned out. After a while, MJs got pretty damn loud too. I hate that sound! I realized that every time they burned out I'd put that tiny Hydor pump in until I could spend another $30 or so to replace that mj1200 that everyone seems so enamored with. So I decided to look for an alternative after the 3rd or 4th pump burned out. i found this Has been working without problems for almost a year. Same or better flow and half as much. Oh, did I mention they're quiet? The only thing that doesn't really bother me is that the variable intake area can get clogged and should be cleaned more often. I had a few small starfish or snails sneaking up from behind and blocking the air intake. Just a quick remove and wipe fixes it. I do a vinegar bath every few months to wash away the dirt.
